Story
49-year-old mother, wife, sister, daughter, cousin, niece, co-worker, peer and associate who’s pronouns are she, her and theirs.
Born and raised in Spring Valley, New York on “The Hill”. The Hill was and still is low-income housing projects 30-40 minutes north of New York City across the Hudson River. I didn’t know I was poor; however, I knew drugs, violence and alcohol wasn’t right. At an early age, I wanted to be a part of the larger solution. I knew at ages 9 or 10, I was going to be like our local childhood neighborhood social worker Mrs. Abrahams.
I specialize with individuals with moderate to severe patients with chronic addiction, on the sex offender registries, court mandated for treatment and victims of severe trauma seeking immediate and aggressive treatment strategies. Also assist with workplace burnout and Employee Assistant treatment.
